New to Tesla? Check out this Tesla independent guide to your Tesla. The Co-Pilot Manual is a product of the Nor Cal Reno Tesla Owners Club and is one the most comprehensive ones we have come across.

Trip planning resources:

Traveling with an Electric Vehicle (EV) is different than a petrol based vehicle. Charging locations, times, and range will impact how you travel in your Tesla. There are two trip planning tools we have used and can recommend. Please contact us if you'd like help planning a trip or with assistance using one of these tools.

EV Trip Planner (EVTP) The first tool out there for planning trips in an EV. EVTP is a web based model for most of the Tesla configurations.
A Better Route Planner (ABRP) has created some nice additions to what EVTP offers. Offers web and app planning for most Tesla configurations.

Superchargers A map based database of Tesla Supercharges (permitted, under construction, and open).
Plugshare both web and app based a must have for finding non-Tesla charging. Also has checkins that provide up to date site information.

Other EV Groups and Resources

Tucson Electric Vehicle Association (TEVA), a group of Southern Arizona electric vehicle owners and enthusiasts. A chapter of the Electric Auto Association (EAA) and advocate for environmentally clean, sustainable, petroleum-free electric transportation.

Plug In America EV Battery Survey Plug In America is conducting a series of surveys of electric vehicle owners to better understand battery longevity and owner experience.

Tesla Motors Club A comprehensive and active forum for all things Tesla.
